Heraldic Fleur-de-lis

Fleur-de-lis is French for lily flower. Since the Middle Ages, it symbolized French royalty. This commission was for a pair of windows to go into a town house in Washington, D.C. that was built in the late 1800’s. The rich colors are dazzling when the sun pours through.
